Who we are
PassPic is an independent app by Fjord Studio (ENK), Norway. Not affiliated with any government. PassPic doesn't issue documents, and it can't submit or follow up a passport or visa case for you.
What PassPic does, and what it can't promise
- PassPic checks your photo against the rules for the document you pick, as written on the government, embassy or visa-center page each document links to, and crops and scales it to size. It doesn't change your face or your background.
- Each check is marked Passed, Check or Fix. Some things can't be measured from a photo, such as glasses, head coverings and hair over the eyes. Please check those yourself.
- We can't promise that any office will accept a photo; the issuing authority decides. Rules change, so read your document's own page before you send the photo.
Credits and retakes
- Checking a photo costs nothing. Saving a photo set uses one credit: one person and one document.
- You buy one credit at a time, or a family pack of four. One-time purchase. No subscription. Credits never expire.
- When you use a credit, you get 30 days of retakes and saved files for the same person and document, without using another credit.
- The price is shown in the app, in your currency, before you open the camera. Google Play takes the payment, and its own terms cover the payment.
When credits are gone or can't be used:
- If you delete your purchase data in Settings, your unused credits are deleted too, and they can't be restored with your order number.
- If a purchase is refunded, its remaining credits are removed and its retake windows close.
- After you reinstall PassPic or move to a new phone, restore your credits with the order number from your Google Play receipt (Settings, then Restore with order number). A purchase can be restored on up to two new installations; after that, email us and we refund the order.
Our refund promise
If a passport or visa office rejects a photo that passed every measurable check (no check marked Fix), send us the rejection notice within 180 days of purchase and we refund you.
- To ask for a refund, open Settings, then Help and refunds, and tap "Problem with your photo?", or email support@passpic.app with your order number. You never need to send your photo.
- We refund through Google Play. The remaining credits of that purchase are removed.
- Nothing in these terms limits the rights you have under the consumer law where you live.
Your photos
Your photos stay on your phone; we never receive them. Only photograph people who agree to it, or children you are responsible for.
Using the app fairly
Don't try to get around purchases, copy the app or misuse our servers. We may stop serving an installation that does.
Liability
We work hard to keep the rules in PassPic correct and up to date, with the source and the date we last checked it on every document. Beyond the refund promise above, we are liable only as far as the law where you live requires. We are not liable for decisions made by passport, visa or other offices.
Law and changes
Norwegian law applies, without taking away the consumer protection of the country where you live. If we change these terms, we update this page and the date at the top.
